Clinical Documentation and medical coding services:
Scribe EMR services involve providing healthcare providers with secure telemedicine applications that enable them to receive assistance via a remote scribe to document a clinical encounter into a patient’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) and provide medical coding services. ScribeEMR services save healthcare providers time, allow them to better focus on the patient, and improve the quality of medical documentation. When we provide these services, we are subject to a federal medical privacy law called HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Users of our services must agree to additional terms in order to use our services in compliance with HIPAA. We are classified as a Business Associate under HIPAA, and that law’s protections apply to all patient information we access.
Any personal information collected through our website is not subject to HIPAA, which is why this Privacy Statement describes the privacy practices and protections applicable to personal information we collect online.
