CodeEMR Appoints FQHC Coding Expert Michelle Anderson as Account Manager
WOBURN,MA…January 5, 2023 – Michelle Anderson, a leading expert in medical coding for federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), community health centers (CHCs), and nonprofits, has joined CodeEMR as account manager to lead implementation, training and education efforts for this highly specialized market.

She also served as an FQHC coding and compliance analyst and an FQHC medical coding and compliance manager for PMG Inc., an industry expert in CHC revenue cycle management.
Prior to that, she was a medical coder for Rhode Island Medical Imaging; a coding specialist, Diagnostic Imaging, for Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I.; a senior coding analyst, Diagnostic Imaging, for Rhode Island Hospital; and a medical claims representative for a private insurer.
Anderson has a number of key certifications. She is a licensed community health (FQHC) coding & billing specialist, a certified risk adjustment coder, a certified medical compliance officer (CMCO), a certified professional medical auditor (CPMA), and a certified professional coder (CPC) with ICD-10 proficiency.
She earned an associates of science degree in medical administration from the Community College of Rhode Island, and certification as a practice workflow & information management redesign specialist, EHR, at Bristol Community College in Fall River, Mass. She is a member of AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) and the Practice Management Institute.
